THE STAMP HAS A MASSIVE HORIZONTAL SHIFT OF THE OVERPRINT (THAT ALONE BEING PRICED AT 60 EUROS IN ITALIAN CATALOGUES) -- SAN MARINO 1943 POSTMARK * THERE NEVER EXISTED THIS MAXIMUM CARD WITH SPECIAL FIRST DAY OF ISSUE POSTMARK - EITHER THIS OR NONE * IF YOU OPT FOR NONE, THEN YOUR COLLECTION IS NOT COMPLETE *** VERY VERY RARE MAXIMUM CARD * [AFTER 40 YEARS COLLECTING MAXIMUM CARDS I KNOW WHAT I AM SAYING] By the way this and similar cards offered here were prepared by Professor Morera - THE GREATEST AUTHORITY IN MAXIMUM CARDS -- In those days maximum cards were not produced by the 100s, Prof. Morera sent a few cards to the various post offices and that was that, were it not for him there would be none of these very important and rare maximum cards *** A Maximum Card is a picture postcard with a matching postmarked postage stamp affixed on the view side. The ideal maximum card has concordance between elements (depiction on stamp matching the depiction on postcard - or elements of it -- with a postmark that is as closely related as possible to what is depicted on stamp and postcard). However such a perfect concordance is not always 100% achievable because at the time the maximum card was processed there were no matching postmarks available.
