1795 FROM PALERMO TO CERVO (GENOA)

Description

24 February 1795, Entire Letter from Palermo to Cervo (near Genoa)- delivered by Sea Courier. Very early date, in very fine condition. Text deals with shipments of grains and staples originating from Sicily and the Mediterranean. It becomes apparent that different vessels were used for the purpose of shipping grains. The letter is authenticated by noted expert Dr. Migliavacca who has signed his initials in pencil on the address panel of the letter.
