FROM DR MIGLIAVACCA’S CERTIFICATE — ITALY, FLORENCE, CAMPO DI MARTE, 7-14 MAY 1911: monochrome, magenta, AIR RALLY Poster Stamp, mint, original gum, featuring the same design of the official postcard issued for the historic event celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy . Famous pioneer aviators took part in the event; however the Rally also saw the unprecedented participation of two female pioneer aviators: Helene Dutrieu – who won the King’s Cup — and Jeanne Herveux.

I have examined the above-described Poster Stamp — which is photographically reproduced* here: in my opinion it is in fine condition and genuine in all respects, including its gum. I signed this Poster Stamp with my initials – “GM” – in pencil———
