A TRULY RARE BIBLIOGRAPHIC ITEM OF POSTAL HISTORY RESEARCH by Gioacchino Saraceni, in Italian, 12 pages, with many illustrations including those of the Post Offices. Also pictured many covers and postmarks. Written in 1936 this series of articles delves into the stamps and postal history of Italian Post Offices in the Turkish Empire including censor marks, parcel post, postal stationery and even the establishment of a Field Post Office in Galata.
Only 50 copies printed, mostly sold to subscribers This 2007 reprint is printed on high quality, white paper from short fibre pulp from eucalyptus trees, chlorine free. THIS IS A MUST HAVE bibliophile publication.
